Whether you are preparing for a town council meeting or simply want to see how taxpayer dollars are being reinvested to strengthen the unique economic fabric of your corner of Wyoming, the answers are here.
Big returns for Wyoming
MAKING EVERY DOLLAR COUNT
Every public dollar WBC invests in Wyoming doesn’t just get spent — it gets multiplied. Business Ready Community (BRC) and Wyoming Venture Capital (WYVC) investments from 2021 through 2025 show a consistent pattern: infrastructure and capital investment at the state level unlocks significantly larger private investment, business revenue, and tax returns.
- $1 invested helps create $25 for our families, businesses, and communities.
- Over time, that same $1 also brings back $.65 in tax money to help pay for our schools and roads.
WHAT WE’VE DONE SINCE 2021*
$83 million to work across Wyoming → $2 billion in business for our neighbors → $54 million back in tax money to keep our state running strong

REALITY CHECK
We welcome scrutiny. In 2026, the Wyoming Department of Audit completed a review of nearly seven years of WBC operations as requested by the Wyoming Legislature. The findings: no material misstatements, no improper spending, no violations of Wyoming law — and one minor documentation note involving less than $850 across thousands of transactions. Independent review is how accountability works, and we’d put this record up against any state agency.
Local & Regional Impact
WBC IN YOUR BACKYARD
Economic development isn’t one-size-fits-all; a win in Casper looks different than a win in Cowley. To help you understand the specific growth happening in your backyard, we have developed Regional Impact Summaries that break down our work by the numbers and the stories that matter to your neighbors. Explore these resources to see how Business Ready Community (BRC) investments, local business expansions, and strategic partnerships are strengthening the unique economic fabric of your specific corner of Wyoming.
